ОБРАЗОВАНИЕ В ОБЛАСТИ ИНОСТРАННЫХ ЯЗЫКОВ В РЕСПУБЛИКЕ УЗБЕКИСТАН: АКТУАЛЬНЫЕ ПРОБЛЕМЫ И СОВРЕМЕННЫЕ ТЕНДЕНЦИИ

The problem of learning foreign languages is one of the most important in teacher education. The purpose of this article is to identify and analyze current problems and modern trends in teaching foreign languages in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The article considers topical issues related to the content and organization of multicultural education, covering the cultural aspect of the country of the language being studied, the sociocultural context of learning foreign languages, the problem of developing students' plural and multilingual abilities. It is also noted that one of the trends in the modernization of language education is the development and implementation of modern digital technologies used in the practice of teaching foreign languages, creating conditions for the formation of foreign language communicative competence in the younger generation, training specialists who are fluent in foreign languages. It describes such pedagogical technologies in the practice of foreign language education as the use of CLIL-technology (Content Language Integrated Learning), which involves subject-language integrated learning, digital technologies TAFLL (Technology-Assisted Foreign Language Learning), LearningApps.org, Lingualeo, Duolingo, LingQ, FluentU, Rosetta Stone, which involve learning foreign languages by immersion.
