Abstract

The article deals with the features of verb lexical units in the English and Karakalpak languages. The author com- pares the verbs of the Karakalpak and English languages and gives their classification. The author gives examples of aux- iliary verbs and their lexical and grammatical using in the Karakalpak and English languages. The author fulfils the task, to study in the comparative aspect all the lexical-semantic and lexical grammatical qualities of the verb in these two lan- guages belonging to different systems, no matter how complicated they become.
