Abstract

This article discusses the importance of artistic methods in the development of world literature. The artistic methods of realism, romanticism, classicism, types of realistic method of depiction are analyzed: enlightenment realism, critical realism, literary movements, on the basis of which works of art were created. The connection between the history of the development of world fiction and artistic creative methods is studied. The questions of the influence of the artistic method on the ideological content of literary works are considered. The national features of the artistic method of national literatures, their connection with the historical development of society are indicated.
