Annotatsiya

The article deals with the comparative study of the tense forms of the verd in the English and Karakalpak languages. The author approaches to this problem from the lexico-semantic and lexico-grammatical points of view distinguishing some common and specific features of the grammatical category of this part of speech in these two different languages. The author elaborated some typical tables clearly reflecting the features of the category and its forms in the comparing languages belonging to different systems.
