Аннотация

The article examines the grammatical functioning and word formation of imitative words in English and Karakalpak. The analysis shows that both languages use imitative words as different parts of speech. English predominantly demonstrates conversion and syntactic flexibility, whereas Karakalpak more clearly employs morphological derivation and reduplication in developing grammatical functions.
