Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of the state of tourism in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, it is emphasized the necessity of the development of sport tourism. The author of the article points out that there are all the opportunities in Karakalpakstan for the reali- zation of sport tourism on the following route: «Toprak-kala»- a residence of ancient Khorezm, a town Kiyat- a middle-aged capital of Khorezm, Kuunya-Urgench and Khiva.
