Abstract

This article comparatively analyzes the formation, development, and artistic-aesthetic features of realism in Uzbek and Russian literature. Using the works of Lev Tolstoy and Fyodor Dostoevsky in Russian literature, and Abdulla Qodiriy and Cho‘lpon in Uzbek literature as examples, the philosophical, psychological, and social foundations of realism are deeply explored. In addition, the similarities and differences between the two literatures are explained in detail.
