Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the formation and development of students’ learning motivation in the higher education system. The relevance of the study is обусловлена (is determined by) the decline in students’ cognitive activity and the need to improve the quality of professional training. An analysis of domestic and foreign approaches to understanding learning motivation is conducted, and its structure and formative factors are revealed. The author proposes a model for the formation and development of students’ learning motivation, which includes diagnostic, formative, and result-oriented components. Special attention is paid to the role of the digital educational environment and active teaching methods.
