Abstract

The article analyzes the comparative psychological characteristics of self-improvement skills in football and volleyball players. It highlights the importance of goal setting, activity planning, self-control, error analysis, motivation, and volitional qualities in athletes. The influence of team interaction, responsibility, and rapid decision-making, which are characteristic of football and volleyball, on self-improvement skills is also examined. The development of these skills is shown to depend on the specific nature of the sport, the training process, and competitive demands.
