Abstract

The article is dedicated to one of the pressing issues of modern comparative Turkology - terminological asymmetry, which arises during the formation of socio-political vocabulary in related Turkic languages of the post-Soviet space. Using materials from the Uzbek, Karakalpak, and Kazakh languages, three main strategies for enriching this terminological layer are examined: the preservation of international (Russian-European) vocabulary, the reactivation of Arabic-Persian historicisms, and terminology creation based on the original Turkic language.
