DISTRIBUTION AND CULTIVATION METHODS OF MAGNOLIA SPECIES IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article focuses on the distribution of Magnolia species in Uzbekistan, their biological characteristics, and cultivation practices. It describes the history of Magnolia introduction and its occurrence in the country, including Tashkent, the Fergana Valley, and Surkhandarya region. The study details agro-technical measures such as site selection, soil preparation, planting, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, winter protection, and pest and disease management. The decorative, ecological, and social significance of Magnolias, as well as their role in landscaping and horticulture, is highlighted. The research aims to support the successful cultivation of Magnolia in Uzbekistan and promote its practical use.
