Abstract

This article analyzes the distribution of Abutilon theophrasti in Uzbekistan as an invasive plant species, its ecological characteristics, and its impact on agroecosystems. The adventive nature of species, high reproductive capacity, and strong ecological adaptability are highlighted as the main factors contributing to its wide distribution. Furthermore, based on the biological characteristics of the plant and population dynamics, its level of invasiveness is scientifically assessed.
