Abstract
In this article, the problem of domestic violence between spouses, violence against women, its appearance, types, causes and prevention of this problem is presented. This type of domestic violence is manifested in the relationship between spouses, and the specificity of such violence is the result of the gender differences of the couple, the dominant position of men and the control over the behavior of women.
