Abstract

The article discusses issues related to the formation of aesthetic perception and aesthetic feelings among younger schoolchildren in the process of their participation in national outdoor games at physical education classes. The author defines the features of the formation of aesthetic concepts in children of this age, the functions of physical education lessons using popular outdoor games, their focus on the development and improvement of personal qualities of students. Much attention is also paid to the requirements for the teacher, his appearance, speech, style, behavior, etc.
