Abstract

The article deals with the study of representative and nominative functions of adjectivecs, including adjectives in anaphoric function in the French language that are considered to be basic for all parts of speech. The author suggests the principles of their classification and investigates thoroughly anaphovic adjectives based on the relation of identity.
