Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of detective stories of the famous writers of the world literature peculiarities. The author analysed similarities and differences between the stories “The Boscomble Valley Mystery” by A.C.Doyle and “Iron Witness” by Valeriy Yarkho, “The Man with the Twisted Lip” by A.C.Doyle and “The Disappearance of Mr. Devingame” by Agatha Christie, “The Speckled Band” by A.C.Doyle and “Bees from Kipr” (by Antony Winn).
