Abstract

The article deals with the issues of expressing the starting point by the prepositions 由 you, 自 zi and 打 da in Chinese. In many textbooks in the Chinese language expression of the starting point is usually rendered only by the preposition 从 cong. Besides the preposition 从 cong this meaning can be transmitted by other prepositions.
