Abstract

The works known as “Alpomish” (among Uzbeks), “Alpamis” (among Karakalpaks), “Alpamis batir” (among Kazakhs), “Alp Manash” (among Kazan Tatars), “Alpamish va Barsin Hillu” (among Bashkirs) have been in the focus of attention of folklorists for a century among the Turkic peoples.
