Abstract

The article analyzes the impact of using visual teaching aids in biology lessons on students’ cognitive activity. The didactic potential of visual tools, ways of integrating them into the teaching process, and their influence on students’ learning outcomes and engagement were studied. Pedagogical observation, experimental methods, questionnaires, and comparative analysis were used in the research. The results showed that systematic and purposeful use of visual aids significantly improves students’ comprehension of the material, independent thinking, and classroom activity. Methodological recommendations for the effective use of visual tools in biology teaching were developed based on the research findings.
