Abstract

The article explores the role and significance of the "Astronomy Teaching Methodology" (ATM) course in developing the professional competence of pre-service teachers within the system of higher pedagogical education. In the course of the study, a modern pedagogical experiment was conducted to evaluate the methodical, technological, and practical-experimental skills of pre-service teachers. The results demonstrated that organizing the ATM course based on interactive and digital educational technologies led to an increase in the overall level of professional training of pre-service teachers.
