Abstract

This article examines the role of practical tasks based on animated materials and sign language in maintaining and developing the vocabulary of deaf and hard-of-hearing students during the summer vacation period. The study highlights the effectiveness of visual resources and sign language in reinforcing previously acquired vocabulary, facilitating the learning of new concepts, and enhancing students’ communicative activity. Particular attention is given to independent learning tasks that help preserve and further develop language and communication skills outside the formal educational environment.
