Abstract

The article highlights the geomorphological significance of the thalweg line in the channel of the Qashqadaryo River, as well as its scientific and practical role in regulating sand and gravel extraction activities. The research results show the necessity of using the thalweg line as an important indicator in assessing sand and gravel extraction processes from the Qashqadaryo River channel based on ecological and geomorphological criteria.
